I originally took my coaching badges as my little ones (now at Uni and not so little) began playing Invasion Games of some description. My love of sport though fuelled my real interest in coaching.
I have been extremely fortunate and privileged working with the talented players at Woodley Netball Club who also happen to be performance minded, because of this I have been to U14 National Clubs Finals where the girls played their way to winning the Bronze medal and this season with the same group of athletes who have just qualified for U16 National Club Finals.
Other netball adventures which I have also been involved with include being taken to the first U15 National Netball Competition at the School Games as the Apprentice Coach for Surrey Storm where we returned with the Bronze Medal after beating Manchester Thunder.
I also had the opportunity to go to the first England Netball National U15 competition last Summer as Team Manager for the U15 Surrey Storm squad where Woodley Netball Club was well represented in both Surrey Storm and Saracens Mavericks squad’s. All returned with either a Silver Medal (Surrey Storm) or Bronze Medal (Saracens Mavericks).
I have also had the pleasure of working on the England Netball Pathway as a Surrey Storm U17 Assistant Coach for the last couple of seasons where Woodley Netball Club is being beautifully represented by many super young players. Like all at Woodley Netball Club they work hard to play the best netball they can while making super friendships along the way.
