What a horrible weekend - but that didn't stop the Woodley Juniors who were out in force on both days at High Wycombe.
Well done to all the girls who played in the soggy conditions and a big big thank you to all of the Umpires, Coaches & Parents who braved the weather as well.
Congratulations to the U12, Blue, U13 Blue & U14 Blue who all played a "Year Up" in the Clan tournament. It was tough going for all, but you certainly held your heads high and had lots of good games, winning more than you all thought you would.

Caitlin & Brooke two huge Surrey Storm supporters with their favourite player Tamsin Greenway, at the Fast Net Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon. Surrey Storm won the day and are playing in the Finals at the Surrey Sports Park, Guildford, this Friday.
Pass on your Passion volunteer, Katherine also enjoyed the day helpng out and watching the Southern Superleague Clubs.

9 of our Back to Netballers took on The Laurel Park Ladies in a fun friendly match tonight, and stole the show by playing brilliantly and winning 25 - 3. Well played ladies your coach is very proud of you!!

The U12 Blues & U13 Blues had a storming hot day in Bournemouth at the Poole Tournament. The U13 Blues finished Runners-up and the U12's Won their age group. Well done to all the girls and a special thank you to Lesley Palmer for coaching the U13's for the day.

In September Nicole Harkness applied through the Passion for Netball scheme to be a volunteer at this year's World Netball Series in November at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. She has been selected to be a Steward for the Players, Officials and the public. Teams playing are England, New Zealand, Jamaica, Fiji, Australia and South Africa. When she is not on shift she will be able to watch the matches and get first hand knowledge as to what goes into making a World Series Netball event a success.

What a flying start to the season for most of our Senior Squads yesterday. Our Bracknell & District teams put on an awesome performance with 5 out of 6 of them finishing either 1st place or runners up.
A special mention to the Hawk Team, which consists of some of our Back to Netball ladies who have moved up to the Club - well done girls a fantastic start!!
Harriers in Div 1 of the Berkshire Prem League had an outstanding win, and Hornets and Comets had a strong battle against each other.
Please can all Captains remember to text 0784 2111 868 with their results as soon as possible after the match and supply a team photo when you can get the squad altogether.

If you haven't already sent your Registration forms and Affiliation & Subs to Karen you need to come along to the balcony over looking the court at Woodford Park tonight or tomorrow with everything. This prestigious accreditation is only given to clubs who can demonstrate that they are offering a good quality netball provision within their community, and Woodley have yet again proved to England Netball what a great Club we are.
A great big thank you to Sarah Feast for all her hard work in pulling all the information required together, to all the coaches, umpires, supporters and of course the players - who make this Club as great as it is!
