Today (Sunday 20 Oct) the U13 whites won a hard fought match against Wokingham Blue.
Starting off strong and keeping our focus on the game, we managed to get the score to 14-2 by the end of the 1st quarter, with great defence, offering support and the attackers constantly feeding the ball into the D and the shooters constantly scoring. By the end of the second quarter the score was 26-4 to us. By the third quarter the score was 41-5 to us. This was the quarter we really shone in using great teamwork and both shooters having each other’s backs even when things got rough. By the last quarter, Wokingham’s defence really stepped up but we just fought a bit harder, sticking to our players and trying our hardest. In the end, the score was 50-7, well done everyone. Thank you to Flo, Aine and Holly for playing with us today. Also congrats to Holly for getting player of the match.
